In 1986, with a background in High School Wrestling, and a fascination with cinematic martial arts, Kevin Saathoff found himself at the grand opening of the Port Byron CKBBA and under the tutelage of Tae Kwon Do instructors Rodger Wisely and Linda Caras. The school was handed off to him and in the late 1990s the classes were moved to the Rapids City Community Center. Being a life-long resident, in the Port Byron/Rapids City area, he believes that offering a family affordable Tae Kwon Do class is one of the ways that he can give back to the community, while sharing his love of the art.
